Why we exist
Most supplement advice starts with a product and works backwards. We start with what you want to improve and your context, then show which options have evidence for that outcome, and which don't.
The result is a plan and a routine you can follow without doing your own literature review: the reasoning, the amounts, the timing and the point at which it's worth reviewing.
Who writes it
Pages are written by the What Helpseditorial team from published trials, product labels and regulators' safety notices, and each one is checked line by line against our research file before it goes live. See the editorial team and its standards, with everything published so far.
Independence
Our scientific judgement is independent of affiliations and commercial relationships. Plans are written in ingredients and amounts before we know whether any product pays a commission. Assessing an ingredient, assessing a product's quality and ordering commercial offers are three separate jobs, and we keep them apart.
- No brand can pay to appear in a plan or change a label.
- Any affiliate disclosure sits next to the link it applies to.
- If we haven't verified a product's quality, we say so.
How we make money
We don't sell supplements. Essential evidence, limits and safety information stay free. Over time we may offer paid conveniences, like reminders, tracking and plan updates, and earn from clearly disclosed product links. Neither will ever depend on adding more supplements to your routine.
Not medical advice
What Helpsis an educational resource. We don't diagnose, and we point you to a professional when your situation calls for one. Read our medical disclaimer.
